SOLAR PANALS ON UNUTILIZED ROOFS
Energy cooperative Zuiderlicht is initiated by a group of houseboat residents at the Schinkel river in Amsterdam. They were one of the first people in Amsterdam to have their own solar panels. When there solar panels where installed, they thought: what is done on our rooftops, can also be done at the rooftop of our the neighbors. The neighbors are football club ASV Arsenal. They had a sun-drenched rooftop, but no money for solar panels. Also they didn't have time and they didn't know anything about it. Energy cooperative Zuiderlicht made sure that the solar panels were installed in 2015. And what can be done on the rooftop of the football club, can also be done on other unutilized rooftops in Amsterdam!
